The holiday season is about family time & sharing the spirit of giving...I'd like to share this opportunity with you.
In the midst of the holiday seasons, we're surrounded by beautiful lights, great food, & family members. This can be a wonderful time of year.
It's also a tough season for those facing the temptations of overindulging, overspending & making it through a tight schedule of family obligations.
Holiday stress is a strong trigger for those in recovery & anyone facing addiction struggles.
When an addict feels forced or overwhelmed to attend gatherings & see family members who may be pressuring them to make tough changes, they often will try to escape.
It's been a long road for me. I'm not going to get into my story right now, but what's gotten me through some of my darkest moments of loss is answering the call to help others. Those involved in our non-profit work have all faced their own recovery or had family addiction issues.
When you give someone money or gifts, the intrinsic value of giving for a meaningful reason might not always be there. You could give someone a plane ticket, cash, or any kind of gift, they may appreciate it, but the gift may not help them or serve any purpose for the future.
When you truly reach out to help someone, the exchange of energy has a greater spirit. People can make amazing changes in each other's lives when they appreciate that spirit.
In most spiritual practices, this holiday season is a celebration of the beginning of life & miracles. We can't always get what we want, but now is the time to take a moment to consider this. There are people who desperately need a miracle & a second chance at life. We have created an opportunity where you can help us give miracles, & donate while you shop for what you want: your holiday or year-round needs.
Please shop with us. You will see in our shopping portal there are opportunities for cash back, online sales & a unique way to donate without cutting checks.
